HOW TO SUPPORT

Blackhawk Fund

The Blackhawk Fund provides annual support for a number of important initiatives at Blackhawk Technical College. This fund provides immediate financial support when students, faculty, and staff need it most. Gifts to the Blackhawk Fund support top priorities like student textbook aid, tuition support, GED programming, student activities, faculty needs, and other opportunities to lift up the work of the Foundation and the College. The use of the Blackhawk Fund vary from year to year depending on new opportunities and rising needs of students, faculty, and the College. By supporting the Blackhawk Fund, your gift – no matter the size – provides essential funding that touches every corner of campus and allows the Foundation to respond with speed and agility to any new areas of need. Coins for Caring

The Coins for Caring (C4C) program is a student emergency fund that helps students facing immediate financial hardships. The fund can provide direct financial support for unexpected emergency expenses, such as groceries, transportation costs, rent and utilities, medical care, car repairs, childcare expenses, and other unexpected financial challenges. In a very real way, an award from Coins for Caring can help a student continue attending Blackhawk Technical College. It can be the difference between pursuing one’s education, or not. Students are eligible for a $100 award per semester. For more information contact Lisa Hurda, Foundation Diector, at 608-757-7704 or email BTCFoundation@blackhawk.edu.
